Longevity Neurology Center Accessibility Statement

Longevity Neurology Center is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Many of our patients live with conditions that affect vision, hearing, movement, memory or attention, and we want every visitor to be able to learn about our care and reach us easily.

Our Standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make websites easier to use for people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, captions and other assistive technologies.

Conformance StatusOur website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This means some parts of the site do not yet fully meet the standard. We completed an accessibility review in October 2026, have already made a number of improvements, and are continuing to work through the rest.

What We Have Done

  • Added a “Skip to Main Content” link and visible keyboard focus on links and buttons

  • Organized every page with a clear heading structure for screen reader users

  • Stopped our patient testimonials from changing slides automatically

  • Removed floating on-screen elements that could cover content

  • Moved our welcome video to YouTube, where captions can be turned on with the CC button

  • Added proper header rows to the data tables in our articles

  • Labeled every field on our contact form

  • Provided a mobile layout that adjusts to small screens

  • Respected the “reduce motion” setting on your device

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following issues and are working to correct them:

  • Zooming on desktop computers: at very high zoom levels, some pages require scrolling sideways. Viewing the site on a phone or tablet, or at a lower zoom level, avoids this.

  • Background video: the video at the top of our home page plays once automatically for about 18 seconds and cannot be paused.

  • Link text: a few links, such as “Read More,” do not fully describe where they go on their own.

  • Contact form: your browser may not offer to autofill your name, email and phone number.

  • Third-party services: online appointment booking and our Google reviews section are provided by outside companies. We do not control their accessibility, but we are working with these providers to meet the same standard.
